We lost Desi to a malignancy last fall. She was a very special dog who made friends for the breed everywhere she went. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life to the fullest. Always willing to please she is missed by all her friends and family. She particularly loved dog shows and at several shows strangers were waiting outside the ring to meet Desi when she came out because she was so obviously "having a wonderful time". She won her class at the National Specialty in 1997 and was Winners Bitch at the NTPWCF specialty. I will always be grateful to Donna Francis and Sandy Wolfskill for sending Desi to Texas.
